Launch of a global initiative on sustainable development in the watch industry

The Watch Association is proud to announce the launch of a new global sustainability initiative aimed at environmental and social improvement in the watch industry. This initiative aims to support sustainable practices, reduce environmental impact and promote social projects in the industry.

The main areas of the initiative:

• Environmental responsibility: Introducing and promoting standards to reduce carbon footprint, use recycled materials and improve energy efficiency in production processes.

• Ethics and social responsibility: Supporting fair labor conditions, creating social responsibility programs and contributing to local communities through partnership projects.

• Materials innovation: Developing and implementing new sustainable materials such as recycled metals and environmentally friendly coatings to minimize the negative impact on nature.

What will be done:

1. Implementation of Sustainable Practices: We will work with manufacturers and suppliers to implement sustainable practices and technologies that help reduce their environmental impact.

2. Educational Events: Organizing seminars and webinars to educate participants on best practices in sustainability and their application in the watch industry.

3. Support for Initiatives: Providing grants and resources to companies and projects aimed at improving environmental and social responsibility in the watch industry.
