Joining the Watch Association
Why you should join the Watch Association
- WA is a watch industry monitor. An important part of WA’s work is lobbying for the interests of association members and monitoring government regulations to identify opportunities and prevent negative situations for the watch industry.
- The daily work of the WA protects the interests of the members. The members of the WA receive the best advice and consultations for their activities. Each member of the Association can initiate a request to any government agency through the WA in case of ambiguous interpretation of legal norms or infringement of their rights.
- Using the website and tools of the Association to promote products. The Association actively develops and fills the website with information, including publishing correspondence with government agencies, and also holds its events as part of watch exhibitions and independently. This gives members of the Association additional opportunities to promote their products and attract customers.
- Membership in the WA pays off. WA members can influence the legal field and changes in legislation, which saves significant funds. The WA also works to reduce import duties on original watches and watch components.
- The WA is a powerful cooperation. The WA has a greater influence on regulators than any single company. The association provides the opportunity to submit positions on important issues in an aggregated form, which protects companies from negative reactions from regulators.
- The activities of the WA benefit the entire watch industry. Companies that do not participate in the association essentially "free" use the results of our work. This is similar to gray market traders who undermine the work of authorized distributors and freely use their advertising work.
- WA is the center for combating fraud in the watch trade. WA has been actively combating counterfeiting and smuggling, as well as other types of fraud in the watch trade since the first day of the association's establishment.
- The members of the WA are the elite of the industry. The members of the WA are world watch brands, leading importers, wholesale and retail watch companies.
- The Association is a meeting place for industry leaders. Participation in the Association provides an opportunity for senior managers to meet with colleagues, exchange ideas and news, and coordinate their activities.
